On March 12, the Development and Reform Commission of Daxing District, Beijing, issued the "Several Measures for Daxing District to Integrate into the Coordinated Development of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei" (hereinafter referred to as the "Measures").
The Measures propose vigorously developing renewable energy and encouraging the pilot application of hydrogen energy combined heat and power, new-type heat storage, and other technologies in industrial park heating infrastructure in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region.
Following the overall layout of the "Six Chains and Five Clusters," efforts will be made to promote the transformation and implementation of key industry chain blueprints, such as hydrogen energy and pharmaceutical health, to continuously optimize and upgrade the industrial ecosystem in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region.
A core hub for the coordinated development of the hydrogen energy industry in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region will be established.
Daxing will fully leverage its role as the leading city of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei hydrogen fuel cell vehicle demonstration city cluster, strengthening collaboration and coordination among city cluster members. Efforts will be made to attract global hydrogen energy innovation enterprises in storage, transportation, refueling, and utilization, guiding and supporting the clustering of the hydrogen energy industry and the development of enterprises.
Strong support will be provided for the coordinated development of upstream and downstream hydrogen energy enterprises, while simultaneously advancing the development of supporting systems such as equipment manufacturing and technology R&D. The hydrogen energy industry ecosystem will be improved, supporting the transformation of hydrogen energy technological achievements and the construction of innovation platforms. High-level industry exchange activities will be encouraged, along with support and guidance for major research projects and standard formulation.
Efforts will be accelerated to promote the application and efficient operation of hydrogen energy vehicles. Demonstrations of hydrogen-powered logistics vehicles will be carried out at transportation hubs, and a demonstration corridor for hydrogen fuel cell vehicle freight in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region will be established, creating a pilot demonstration corridor for zero-emission, low-carbon freight in the region.
