






SMM March 13 News: Dealers in Anhui reported that the end-use consumption of e-bike lead-acid batteries in the market is sluggish. Although the trade-in policy for e-bikes has been extended, its positive impact on battery consumption is limited. Currently, battery inventory is around 20 days. With the traditional off-season approaching, only supplementary purchases for certain models have been made recently. Manufacturers in Jiangxi reported that the replacement demand for e-bike lead-acid batteries in the market is weak, and new orders in March have declined. To avoid inventory accumulation, factories are producing based on sales, with an operating rate of 70-80% on production lines. Manufacturers in Zhejiang reported that the demand for e-bike lead-acid batteries in the market is moderate. With the traditional off-season approaching, dealers are cautious in their purchases. Currently, the operating rate of production lines in factories is around 80%, and raw material lead is being purchased as needed.
