Hebei Gellec to Boost Aramid Coating Capacity to 750 Million m²/Year

[Aramid Coating of 750 Million m²/Year by Hebei Gellec] Para-aramid is a high-tech specialty material with excellent high-temperature resistance and stable chemical properties, which is highly favoured across various fields. However, in the application field of separator coatings, due to the molecular rigidity of the material and the stress released during precipitation, it is challenging to achieve mass production in the coating field. This year, Gellec is expected to enhance its capacity, planning a total aramid coating capacity of 750 million m²/year. Among this, the first phase has an annual capacity of 200 million m², and the second phase has an annual capacity of 550 million m².
