SMM March 13 News: Today, rare earth market prices remained strong. The price of Pr-Nd oxide has risen to 444,000-446,000 yuan/mt, while dysprosium oxide stabilized at 1.7-1.71 million yuan/mt. Terbium oxide increased to 6.58-6.62 million yuan/mt, gadolinium oxide rose to 165,000-169,000 yuan/mt, holmium oxide remained at 46.6-47 yuan/mt, and erbium oxide stayed at 295,000-299,000 yuan/mt.
In the metal market, Pr-Nd alloy increased to 543,000-547,000 yuan/mt, while dysprosium-iron alloy prices remained at 1.64-1.66 million yuan/mt. Meanwhile, terbium metal was quoted at 8.13-8.17 million yuan/mt, gadolinium-iron prices rose to 160,000-164,000 yuan/mt, and lanthanum-cerium metal stabilized at 16,500-18,500 yuan/mt. Currently, driven by tenders from large downstream enterprises, market confidence is strong, supplier quotes remain firm, low-priced cargoes are decreasing, and increased inquiries from downstream buyers have boosted overall market activity. Overall, rare earth prices are expected to remain firm in the short term.
