Copper Production Updates: Mixed Results from Major Producers

According to SMM, data released on Monday by Codelco, the world's largest copper producer, showed that its copper production in January fell by 4% to 102,700 mt. Production at Escondida, the world's largest copper mine owned by BHP, rose 12% YoY to 109,400 mt, while copper production at the Collahuasi copper mine, jointly operated by Glencore and Anglo American, dropped by over 46% to 28,000 mt.
