Indian ADC12 Aluminum Alloy Ingot Prices Hit Six-Month High Amid Rising Raw Material Costs

[Indian ADC12 Aluminum Alloy Ingot Prices Rise Due to Higher Raw Material Costs] In March 2025, Indian ADC12 OEM-grade aluminum alloy ingot prices rose MoM, reaching a six-month high, driven primarily by rising aluminum scrap prices and a supply deficit. Prices in the Delhi market increased to approximately $2,489/mt, while in the Chennai market, they reached around $2,477/mt. Tight raw material supply led some sellers to quote as high as about $2,582/mt, and Indian companies are considering importing ADC12 from Malaysia and Thailand. On the export side, Indian offers to Japan ranged from $2,400 to $2,450/mt. In the short term, the ADC12 market is expected to remain strong, supported by rising raw material costs and growing overseas demand.
