Apple (AAPL.O) dropped 4%, with its stock falling below the $230 mark. According to reports, Apple has officially confirmed that the release of the new personalized Siri update will be later than expected, now planned for "sometime next year," without providing a specific timetable. Apple stated that the new Siri features showcased last June, including answering questions using users' personal information and more precise app control, will be delayed to "within the next year." Several internal sources revealed that prior to the recent postponement decision, software chief Craig Federighi and other executives found these features to be both unstable and failing to meet promotional expectations during internal testing.
