On March 10, the winning candidates for the 2025 PV module equipment procurement project of the Hunan Branch of Tower Energy were announced. The first winning candidate is Zhejiang Yingli Technology Co., Ltd., the second is Nanjing Oulu Electric Co., Ltd., and the third is Hefei Zhongnan Photovoltaic Co., Ltd.

According to the tender announcement, this project involves the procurement of PV modules with a unit power of 550-600WP, with an estimated purchase for 5,000 sites (approximately 1,750 sites of 2-3KW scale, 3,000 sites of 4-5KW scale, and 250 sites of 6-8KW scale), including the supply of PV module equipment (22.5 million Wp), support for testing and commissioning, and transportation (including unloading to designated warehouses). The tax-exclusive procurement amount for this project is 16.875 million yuan, with a general taxpayer VAT rate of 13%, resulting in a tax-inclusive procurement amount of approximately 19.0688 million yuan. For small-scale taxpayers, the national standard will be applied (if the tax rate is adjusted due to policy changes, the latest national requirements will be followed).

[SMM PV News] Armenia Hits 1.1 GW Solar Capacity,
Armenia’s cumulative solar capacity has surged to 1.1 GW following the addition of approximately 615 MW in 2025. This rapid expansion has pushed solar's share of electricity generation to around 15%, effectively meeting the country's 2030 target years ahead of schedule. The growth is heavily driven by a net-metering scheme supporting over 50,000 autonomous producers (totaling 650 MW), though the government ended loan subsidies for rooftop solar in July to shift focus toward battery storage.
