US Aluminum Premiums May Need to Rise to Offset 25% Tariff, Analyst Says

Michael Widmer, an analyst at Bank of America, stated that US aluminum premiums might need to rise to around 47¢/lb (approximately $1,036/mt) to fully offset the 25% tariff. This cost would almost entirely be borne by US consumers.
