Indonesian Coal Exporters Seek Six-Month Transition for New HBA Pricing Rules

According to foreign media reports, the Indonesian Coal Exporters Association recently called on the government to provide a six-month transition period before implementing the new HBA pricing rules, to ensure a smooth policy rollout and avoid shocks to export operations. The association also suggested that the government adopt more flexible measures in the dissemination of the new regulations, contract execution, and floor price setting, to maintain the competitiveness and market stability of Indonesia's coal industry.
