According to the Bazhong Media Center, recently at the construction site of the BSG sodium-ion carbon anode material production project located in the Sodium-Ion Battery Industrial Park in the Bazhong Economic Development Zone, Sichuan, workers inside the factory are racing against time, while materials and equipment vehicles are moving in and out outside the factory. "Once the renovation is completed, equipment installation and commissioning will immediately follow," said Wei Kan, General Manager of Sichuan BSG New Material Technology Co., Ltd. "It is expected to start production by the end of March. To save time and accelerate progress, all renovation work in various areas must be fully completed within the next two days, leaving more time for equipment installation and commissioning."
It is reported that the BSG sodium-ion carbon anode material production project is the first sodium-ion battery industry project introduced and implemented in Bazhong City, Sichuan. Upon completion, it will form a production line with an annual capacity of 20,000 mt of hard carbon anode material, with an estimated annual output value of 600 million to 800 million yuan after production begins.
