Beijing (Gasgoo)- On March 4, Shanghai G-Pulse Electronics Technology Co., Ltd. (G-Pulse) officially launched the MADC4.0 system-level domain controller solution, built on Horizon Robotics' Journey® 6E/M platform.

This latest solution aims to accelerate the development and mass adoption of advanced intelligent driving systems, further advancing the industry's transition toward high-level smart driving.

G-Pulse has been a strategic partner of Horizon Robotics since 2020, making it one of the earliest officially authorized IDH partners of the latter. Over the years, the two firms have deepened their collaboration, leading to the development of multiple intelligent driving domain controllers, including MADC2.0, 2.5, 3.5, as well as high-level smart driving domain controller solutions HADC1.0 and 2.0.

G-Pulse is among the few companies capable of spanning the entire Journey® 2 to Journey® 6 product range, offering comprehensive system, hardware, software, and algorithm support.

The newly introduced MADC4.0 is designed as an intelligent computing platform for L2+ advanced smart driving systems, emphasizing safety, high performance, and development efficiency. It offers exceptional adaptability in hardware compatibility, algorithm optimization, performance efficiency, and cost control, with a modular design for customized deployment and function development.

The solution integrates Horizon Robotics' Journey® 6E/M and Infineon's Aurix TC397 MCU, supporting highway NOA (navigation-on-autopilot), urban NOA, memory driving, and fully automated parking functions. Additionally, it features a reinforced security framework, covering software and hardware security, system safety, functional safety, and cybersecurity. The integrated middleware and foundational software are developed to meet high functional safety standards, ensuring a secure and seamless intelligent driving experience.
