Beijing (Gasgoo)- VOYAH, Dongfeng Motor's premium new energy vehicle brand, on March 3 signed a strategic cooperation agreement with ByteDance's Volcano Engine, aiming to collaborate on intelligent driving, AI-powered smart cockpits, and enterprise digitalization aspects.

Under the agreement, both parties will jointly develop smart cockpit AI models, digital enterprise solutions, and cloud platforms for intelligent driving and smart cockpits. By integrating VOYAH's in-house AI voice technology with the ecosystem advantages of Volcano Engine's Doubao AI model, the collaboration aims to create a next-generation smart cockpit featuring natural voice interaction and personalized scenario intelligence, enhancing in-car entertainment and user experience.

Additionally, VOYAH's digitalization capabilities will be upgraded across its entire operation, including R&D, manufacturing, supply chain, sales, and services.

In the intelligent driving sector, the partners will establish a cloud platform for smart driving, focusing on algorithm training and cloud-based simulation. Leveraging Volcano Engine's cloud computing and data processing capabilities, the collaboration will enhance development efficiency and accelerate mass production of VOYAH's end-to-end intelligent driving technologies.

The cooperation also extends to enterprise digitalization, cloud-based overseas business expansion, and AI-driven industry applications, providing a richer content ecosystem for vehicle owners.

World's First Mass-Produced Sodium-Ion Battery Passenger Vehicle Officially Unveiled
On February 5, Changan Automobile unveiled its global sodium-ion battery strategy, and the world's first mass-produced sodium-ion battery passenger vehicle was officially introduced. Test data shows that the vehicle equipped with CATL's sodium-ion battery delivers nearly three times the discharge power compared to conventional lithium iron phosphate vehicles with the same battery capacity under -30°C conditions. In extreme cold environments of -40°C, it maintains over 90% capacity retention, and it can still discharge stably even at the extreme low temperature of -50°C.
