Beijing (Gasgoo)- On March 3,  Neusoft's automotive arm Reach Auto and Infineon officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to further strengthen their collaboration. The two companies will enhance cooperation in product development, ecosystem building, and market integration to deliver competitive integrated hardware-software solutions for the automotive industry, accelerating the sector's intelligent transformation.

This partnership marks an upgrade from their previous industrial collaboration. Infineon will advance its next-generation high-performance automotive-grade system solutions and integrate them with Reach Auto's NeuSAR software development platform, expanding technological cooperation and expediting commercialization of innovative solutions.

The two companies have built a solid foundation in software-hardware collaboration, covering applications in vehicle body control, powertrain, chassis, and autonomous driving domain controllers. Their solutions have been deployed in nearly 40 vehicle models so far.

Amid the rise of AI-defined vehicles, Reach Auto has upgraded its AIOS platform for stability and efficiency, while Infineon has introduced its AURIX TC4x 32-bit microcontroller for applications in e-mobility, ADAS, E/E architectures, and embedded AI. Through this deepened collaboration, the companies aim to provide safer and more efficient software-hardware systems, helping automakers reduce R&D costs, shorten mass production cycles, and accelerate vehicle launches.

World's First Mass-Produced Sodium-Ion Battery Passenger Vehicle Officially Unveiled
On February 5, Changan Automobile unveiled its global sodium-ion battery strategy, and the world's first mass-produced sodium-ion battery passenger vehicle was officially introduced. Test data shows that the vehicle equipped with CATL's sodium-ion battery delivers nearly three times the discharge power compared to conventional lithium iron phosphate vehicles with the same battery capacity under -30°C conditions. In extreme cold environments of -40°C, it maintains over 90% capacity retention, and it can still discharge stably even at the extreme low temperature of -50°C.
