Beijing (Gasgoo)- On February 28, Dongfeng Nissan's Venucia brand officially released the new V-Online DD-i Orca edition onto the market. The model is available in three variants, with limited-time introductory prices ranging from 125,900 yuan to 145,900 yuan. After additional discounts, the starting price is set at 99,900 yuan.

As a mid-cycle facelift, the new V-Online DD-i Orca has undergone updates in design, configuration, and driving range.

In terms of appearance, the model adopts Venucia's latest design language, giving it a sportier and more dynamic look. The 2025 V-Online DD-i measures 4,620 mm in length, 1,917 mm in width, and 1,629 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,700 mm. Compared to the 2023 version, the new model is 13 mm longer and 5 mm taller.

As for smart features, the vehicle is equipped with an NFS keyless smart start, the upgraded Lighthouse OS 2.0 infotainment system, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 chipset, and an advanced voice interaction system. Venucia has also integrated DeepSeek AI into Lighthouse OS 2.0 to enhance the user experience through deep-learning capabilities.

Under the hood, the model features the Venucia IHS 2.0 intelligent hybrid system, a single-speed direct-drive system, a 1.5T turbocharged engine, and a multi-link rear suspension. The engine delivers a maximum power output of 123 kW and a peak torque of 230 N·m, addressing common issues of traditional plug-in hybrids, such as weak acceleration at low battery levels and unstable high-speed performance.

The new V-Online DD-i Orca offers a 150 km battery-powered range and a combined driving range of 1,172 km, with a fuel consumption of just 0.7L per 100 km, prioritizing electric driving while ensuring fuel efficiency.

World's First Mass-Produced Sodium-Ion Battery Passenger Vehicle Officially Unveiled
On February 5, Changan Automobile unveiled its global sodium-ion battery strategy, and the world's first mass-produced sodium-ion battery passenger vehicle was officially introduced. Test data shows that the vehicle equipped with CATL's sodium-ion battery delivers nearly three times the discharge power compared to conventional lithium iron phosphate vehicles with the same battery capacity under -30°C conditions. In extreme cold environments of -40°C, it maintains over 90% capacity retention, and it can still discharge stably even at the extreme low temperature of -50°C.
