Chery Group's monthly auto sales jump 26.4% YoY in Feb. 2025

Chinese automaker Chery Group on March 2 reported total vehicle sales of 180,932 units in February 2025, marking a 26.4% year-on-year increase.

Beijing (Gasgoo)- Chinese automaker Chery Group on March 2 reported total vehicle sales of 180,932 units in February 2025, marking a 26.4% year-on-year increase.

Of those, Chery Automobile Co., Ltd. (Chery Automobile) contributed 171,085 units, achieving a 31% surge from a year ago. Chery Group's new energy vehicle (NEV) sales reached 44,375 units in the past month, skyrocketing 278.3% compared to the same period last year.

Breaking down by brands, the Chery brand remained the group's primary sales driver, selling 106,312 vehicles in February.

JETOUR followed with 42,257 vehicles sold, maintaining its strong position in the SUV market.

LUXEED, the intelligent electric vehicle brand jointly developed with Huawei, recorded 10,004 units sold in the past month, highlighting its growing presence in the premium NEV segment.

EXEED, Chery's premium brand, achieved monthly sales of 6,706 vehicles, while iCAR, the NEV brand targeting young consumers, recorded 5,806 units in sales.

Additionally, Chery announced plans to host a technology launch event in March, where it will unveil its intelligent strategy and achievements. The event will showcase the company's advancements in smart driving with the Falcon ("Lieying" in Chinese pinyin) intelligent driving system, humanoid robots, and smart cockpit solutions, offering a glimpse into Chery’s vision for intelligent mobility.
