【Teck Resources reached an annual zinc concentrate supply agreement with a Chinese smelter at $60 per tonne】Canadian miner Teck Resources has reached an annual agreement with a major smelter in southern China, for the supply of zinc concentrate at $60 per tonne, according to market sources. The contract reportedly covers 60,000 tonnes of zinc concentrate from Teck’s Red Dog mine. This agreed price is significantly higher than the current spot treatment charges (TCs). According to SMM data, the average spot treatment charges (TCs) for imported zinc concentrate currently stands at $20 per tonne in China.
