Shanghai (Gasgoo)- On February 27, 2025, Xiaomi held a new product launch event in Beijing, officially putting the mass-produced unit of the Xiaomi SU7 Ultra model onto the market with a guidance price of 529,900 yuan.

During the event, Xiaomi's Chairman and CEO Mr. Lei Jun announced that the production version of the SU7 Ultra would take on the Nürburgring Nordschleife track challenge, after which a Nürburgring Limited Edition would be released at 814,900 yuan.

Previously, Xiaomi EV revealed that the SU7 Ultra prototype clocked a lap time of 6 minutes and 46.874 seconds at the Nürburgring, making it the fastest four-door sedan on the track. The company also confirmed plans to continue competing at the Nürburgring in 2025.

The SU7 Ultra maintains the aerodynamic design of the prototype, incorporating a sporty front splitter with a dual "U" shape. A carbon fiber roof and LiDAR system further enhance its high-performance profile.

The SU7 Ultra is available in five color schemes: Obsidian Black, Pearl White, Space Silver, Parrot Green, and Lightning Yellow.

Its overall side profile remains similar to the standard SU7, with redesigned side skirts, the "Ultra" badging, and additional racing decals reinforcing its performance-oriented aesthetic.

The new car measures 5,115 mm in length, 1,970 mm in width, and 1,465 mm in height, with a 3,000 mm wheelbase—identical to the standard version, though other dimensions have increased.

The model is equipped with carbon-ceramic brake discs and Akebono calipers (six-piston front, four-piston rear). Xiaomi EV claims the carbon-ceramic discs can withstand temperatures exceeding 1,300°C. Additionally, an optional Bilstein EVO T1 coilover suspension system offers a balance between street and track performance, featuring 10-stage adjustable damping for fine-tuning to different road and driving conditions.

At the rear, the SU7 Ultra sports a carbon fiber spoiler, though smaller than the prototype's, along with an aerodynamic diffuser and black-yellow accents, delivering a total downforce of 285 kg. The rear badging has been updated to "SU7 Ultra" with a blacked-out finish, and racing stripes on the trunk lid mirror those on the front.

Inside, the interior exudes a racing atmosphere. While the layout remains consistent with the standard model, it features extensive carbon fiber and Alcantara materials, with Alcantara covering up to 5 square meters. The car also introduces a new sports steering wheel and racing seats. The infotainment system offers a dedicated UI, three simulated exhaust notes, and an integrated "Track Master" mode.

Additional refinements include carbon fiber trim on the center console, seatbacks, and door sills. The panoramic sunroof has been removed to reduce weight, and the upper door grab handles have been replaced with leather for further lightweight optimization.

The vehicle runs on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8295 chip with the Xiaomi HyperOS and features the Xiaomi Pilot intelligent driving system, powered by two Orin X chips delivering 508 TOPS of computing power.

In terms of performance, the SU7 Ultra's mass-produced edition retains the prototype's tri-motor system, track-spec battery, and thermal management system. It features an all-wheel-drive setup that embraces two HyperEngine V8s and one HyperEngine V6s e-motors, delivering a maximum horsepower of 1,548PS. The car accelerates from 0-100 km/h in 1.98 seconds, 0-200 km/h in 5.86 seconds, and completes 0-400 meters in 9.23 seconds, with a top speed exceeding 350 km/h. Its CLTC range is rated at 620 km, with an energy consumption of 16.5 kWh/100 km. It also boasts a minimum turning diameter of 11.7 meters and achieves a braking distance of only 30.8 meters from 100km/h to 0.
