Under the agreement, SANY Truck and EVE Energy will pursue comprehensive collaboration in the new energy commercial vehicle industry.

Shanghai (Gasgoo)- SANY Truck and EVE Energy recently held their 2025 strategic seminar in Huizhou city, where they signed a strategic cooperation agreement, according to a press release EVE Energy issued on Feb. 26 via its WeChat account. This marks the second consecutive year the two companies have conducted such discussions.

At this year's seminar, the two sides focused on the new energy commercial vehicle market, engaging in in-depth discussions on market demand, technological trends, product evolution and quality, as well as global expansion and service strategies. Against the backdrop of shifting market dynamics, they explored breakthroughs in battery technology and continuous product innovation, reinforcing their shared vision and laying a solid foundation for further expansion in the sector.

Under the agreement, SANY Truck and EVE Energy will pursue comprehensive collaboration in the new energy commercial vehicle industry. Leveraging SANY Truck's deep expertise in commercial vehicles and EVE Energy's technological leadership in battery manufacturing and R&D, the partnership aims to accelerate the sector's green transition and drive higher-quality development.

As a subsidiary of SANY Group, SANY Truck serves as a key initiative in integrating traditional manufacturing with digitalization and smart technologies. The company continues to enhance product quality and innovation, using its leading R&D and manufacturing capabilities to expand its presence in the new energy heavy-duty truck segment and provide integrated solutions for customers.

EVE Energy, one of the earliest Chinese battery developers for commercial vehicles, has been committed to the sector since 2015, actively driving the electrification of buses, logistics vehicles, heavy-duty trucks, and construction machinery. In 2024, it launched "Open Source Battery," a commercial vehicle battery brand that combines high performance with exceptional durability, catering to ultra-fast charging, long range, and extended lifespan needs.

World's First Mass-Produced Sodium-Ion Battery Passenger Vehicle Officially Unveiled
On February 5, Changan Automobile unveiled its global sodium-ion battery strategy, and the world's first mass-produced sodium-ion battery passenger vehicle was officially introduced. Test data shows that the vehicle equipped with CATL's sodium-ion battery delivers nearly three times the discharge power compared to conventional lithium iron phosphate vehicles with the same battery capacity under -30°C conditions. In extreme cold environments of -40°C, it maintains over 90% capacity retention, and it can still discharge stably even at the extreme low temperature of -50°C.
