Beijing (Gasgoo)- Chinese smart driving solution developer MINIEYE was recently selected by a leading new energy vehicle manufacturer to supply mid-to-high-level smart driving domain controller products for vehicles priced around 300,000 yuan, according to the company's WeChat post on Feb. 26.

The project is set to be delivered by the end of this year. This collaboration further validates MINIEYE's innovation and mass production capabilities, marking a significant step in the company's push to popularize advanced intelligent driving solutions.

The domain controller, based on Horizon Robotics' Journey 6M computing platform, supports L2++ driving assistance features, including city NOA (navigation-on-autopilot), highway NOA, cruise assist, active safety, and memory parking, offering an affordable yet intelligent, safe, and efficient driving experience.

In 2021, MINIEYE signed a strategic partnership with Horizon Robotics to develop leading intelligent driving production solutions. The iPilot 2 and iPilot 3 integrated parking and driving systems, based on Horizon's Journey products, are already in mass production. The iPilot 4 mid-to-high-level driving solution based on the Journey 6E chip is expected to be delivered this year.

Since its founding in 2014, MINIEYE has been focusing on technological innovation and the progressive development of intelligent driving solutions from L0 to L2+, while also actively advancing L4 autonomous driving technology. The company's strategic focus on intelligent driving, smart cabins, and C-V2X technologies is strengthening its support for the automotive industry's digital transformation.

World's First Mass-Produced Sodium-Ion Battery Passenger Vehicle Officially Unveiled
On February 5, Changan Automobile unveiled its global sodium-ion battery strategy, and the world's first mass-produced sodium-ion battery passenger vehicle was officially introduced. Test data shows that the vehicle equipped with CATL's sodium-ion battery delivers nearly three times the discharge power compared to conventional lithium iron phosphate vehicles with the same battery capacity under -30°C conditions. In extreme cold environments of -40°C, it maintains over 90% capacity retention, and it can still discharge stably even at the extreme low temperature of -50°C.
