Xiaomi EV ambitious to sell 10,000 SU7 Ultra vehicles through 2025

On February 26, Xiaomi Founder, Chairman, and CEO Lei Jun shared an update on the SU7 Ultra model via his Weibo account, reaffirming the company's ambitious vision for the high-performance electric sedan. "The Xiaomi SU7 Ultra was designed to be the new luxury car for the era," Mr. Lei stated. "The SU7 Ultra is an exceptionally powerful product, and our team is highly confident—we are 90% certain of hitting the 2025 sales target of 10,000 units."

Lynk & Co 08 EM-P enters European market, deliveries set in mid-2025

On February 26, Lynk & Co announced it has officially launched the 08 EM-P model in the European market, with deliveries scheduled to begin in June 2025. The model starts at €52,995 (approximately RMB 404,000). The version introduced to Europe, the 08 EM-P 245 Super Long-range edition, becomes the first plug-in hybrid electric vehicle model in the region to achieve a battery-powered range of over 200 km under WLTP conditions.

On February 26, Geely's Galaxy new energy vehicle range announced that the 100,000th unit of its A0-segment pure electric sedan, the Geely Xingyuan, officially rolled off the production line.

Tesla starts delivering refreshed Model Y in China

On February 26, Tesla officially announced the start of deliveries for the refreshed Model Y in China. The updated model is available in two variants: the rear-wheel-drive (RWD) launch edition, priced from 263,500 yuan, and the long-range all-wheel-drive (AWD) launch edition, starting at 303,500 yuan.  

Hongqi Tiangong 05 all-electric sedan hits market, starting at 159,800 yuan

On February 26, FAW Group's premium passenger vehicle brand Hongqi officially put the Tiangong 05, all-electric midsize sedan onto the market. The model is available in four variants, with a price range of 159,800 yuan-185,800 yuan.

FAW Bestune launches new vehicle platform, power system, smart cockpit

On February 25, FAW Group's passenger vehicle brand Bestune held its tech day event, officially debuting its core technologies including the Yueying Platform, Zhuri Power System, and Ruyi Cockpit. Novauto, X Square Robot forge strategic partnership on general-purpose intelligent agent R&D

On February 24, Chinese computing solution developer Novauto announced the strategic partnership it recently formed with X Square Robot. On February 22, Great Wall Motor ("GWM") announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Nobo Automotive Technology Co., Ltd. ("Nobo Technology"), plans to acquire an 80% stake in Wuxi Xindong Semiconductor Technology Co., Ltd. ("Wuxi Xindong") from Wensheng Technology (Tianjin) Co., Ltd. ("Wensheng Technology") for 3.79 million yuan.
