Beijing (Gasgoo)- On February 26, Xiaomi EV announced the full rollout of its end-to-end all-scenario HAD (Hyper Autonomous Driving) feature, which enables seamless integration from departure to automated parking at the destination.

To ensure safety, Xiaomi EV requires users to complete at least 1,000 kilometers of safe assisted driving session—covering functions such as ACC, LCC, and highway NOA—before activating the HAD feature. Additionally, vehicles must pre-learn parking lot routes before utilizing the automated parking function.

The HAD system supports complex urban environments, including highways, urban expressways, intricate city roads, and pre-mapped parking facilities. Despite its capability to navigate seamlessly through various city scenarios, Xiaomi EV emphasizes that intelligent driving is not fully autonomous. Drivers must remain attentive to road conditions and be prepared to intervene when necessary to ensure safety.

On February 25, Tesla China also announced the phased rollout of its 2024.45.32.12 software update, which includes enhancements to urban Autopilot, updates to the cabin camera system, and a new map package version (CN-2025.8-15218).

The urban Autopilot update optimizes Tesla's existing Navigate on Autopilot (NOA) feature, allowing vehicles to operate with Autopilot on controlled-access roads and urban streets. The system can guide the vehicle through exits and intersections according to navigation routes, recognizing traffic signals to execute actions such as going straight, turning left or right, and making U-turns. Additionally, the system can change lanes based on speed and route. Without a set navigation route, the vehicle selects the optimal path based on road conditions.
