United Automotive Electronic Systems (UAES) recently saw first thermal management module roll off the production line.

Shanghai (Gasgoo)- United Automotive Electronic Systems ("UAES"), a joint venture between Bosch and SAIC Motor-backed Zhong-Lian Automotive Electronics Co., Ltd., recently saw first thermal management module roll off the production line, marking a significant milestone in its new energy vehicle (NEV)-related technology portfolio, according to a press release the company issued on Feb. 24 via its WeChat account.

In NEVs, batteries and electric drive systems generate substantial heat, while maintaining a comfortable cabin temperature remains essential. Acting as the vehicle's "temperature manager," an efficient thermal management system precisely regulates heat across the cabin, battery, and drivetrain. This not only enhances energy efficiency—maximizing the utility of limited battery power and extending driving range—but also improves passenger comfort.

UAES said its first battery electric vehicle (BEV) thermal management module integrates multiple components, including a coolant flow plate, electronic water valve, electronic water pump, battery cooler, and expansion valve.

According to the company, the module boasts high robustness, which can remain stable and reliable even in complex operating conditions. Its space-efficient design supports vehicle packaging and lightweight strategies.

During development, the coolant flow plate and reservoir were designed using UAES' proprietary digital tools, undergoing extensive optimization to balance customer requirements with optimal performance.

Besides, the electronic water valve, also independently developed and manufactured by UAES, features excellent internal sealing and high control precision. With intelligent algorithm-driven customization, it adapts flexibly to diverse thermal management scenarios.

UAES highlights that its strength in thermal management extends beyond individual modules. The company offers comprehensive system solutions covering components, modules, and controllers, optimizing system performance across demand, control, and execution levels. The module supports multiple integration configurations, including single- and dual-side setups, and is adaptable for both BEVs and plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEVs), meeting the high-temperature demands of different NEV architectures.

Moreover, UAES has leveraged its proprietary smart algorithms to further enhance thermal management performance. These tools enable precise performance forecasting, rapid optimization of module flexibility, and scientific verification of component functions and reliability. By utilizing AI-driven digital tools for iterative optimization, UAES has reduced module flow resistance and pressure drop by 20%, while simultaneously decreasing size and weight by approximately 10%. This helps ensure optimal thermal management efficiency at the module level, contributing to overall vehicle performance improvements.

[Phosphorus Chemical Industry: Wengfu's Wet-Process 85 Phosphoric Acid Rose by 700 yuan/mt Within Half a Month, Pushing Iron Phosphate Production Costs Higher Under Pressure] On March 16, 2026, SMM reported that phosphorus giant Wengfu Group raised the ex-factory price of wet-process 85 phosphoric acid by 200 yuan/mt yesterday. Wengfu implemented a "price adjustment on every 5th" mechanism (the 5th, 15th, and 25th of each month). This marked the second price adjustment in March, bringing the cumulative increase to 700 yuan/mt (it had already increased by 500 yuan/mt on March 5). The continued increases in phosphoric acid prices brought significant cost pressure to new energy enterprises, while the production costs of iron phosphate via the iron-process and sodium-process routes rose by several hundred yuan accordingly.
