Beijing (Gasgoo)- On February 24, Chinese computing solution developer Novauto announced the strategic partnership it recently formed with X Square Robot. The collaboration will focus on meeting the practical application needs of robotics, and jointly explore next-generation robotics computing platforms based on edge large models and chips, driving the development of embodied intelligence.

Novauto specializes in computing architecture design and algorithm optimization, primarily targeting edge computing scenarios in areas such as security, intelligent driving, and embodied intelligence. The company provides high-efficiency computing solutions centered around its Jingzhe chip series and hardware-software collaborative products, including the N-CUBE computing box and N-TANK edge server. Novauto's solutions support the deployment and operation of large models on edge devices, such as DeepSeek-R1, to effectively meet diverse customer needs across various scenarios.

On the other hand, X Square Robot focuses on developing general-purpose embodied large models and building versatile intelligent agents capable of fine-tuned operations. The company is among the first in China to achieve unified end-to-end embodied large models. Its self-developed Great Wall operation model series, such as WALL-A, enables robots to autonomously perceive, judge, and execute complex tasks in the physical world.

Through this partnership, both companies will enhance technical collaboration and co-develop general-purpose intelligent agents based on Novauto's AI chips. Currently, Novauto is conducting real-world testing of large models on its next-generation AI chips, and both companies will explore the deployment and application of AI chips in general-purpose intelligent agent platforms.

World's First Mass-Produced Sodium-Ion Battery Passenger Vehicle Officially Unveiled
On February 5, Changan Automobile unveiled its global sodium-ion battery strategy, and the world's first mass-produced sodium-ion battery passenger vehicle was officially introduced. Test data shows that the vehicle equipped with CATL's sodium-ion battery delivers nearly three times the discharge power compared to conventional lithium iron phosphate vehicles with the same battery capacity under -30°C conditions. In extreme cold environments of -40°C, it maintains over 90% capacity retention, and it can still discharge stably even at the extreme low temperature of -50°C.
