On February 25, the State Administration for Market Regulation (SAMR) held a symposium on fair competition with representatives from several companies. The meeting was chaired by Meng Yang, a member of the SAMR Party Leadership Group and Deputy Director. Representatives from Trinasolar, JA Solar Technology, LONGi, Alibaba Group, JD Group, BAIC Group, and Mercedes-Benz Group engaged in in-depth discussions on addressing "cut-throat competition" and shared their opinions and suggestions.

The participating companies shared their experiences based on actual conditions, introducing the market environment, competitive landscape, and challenges they face. They also provided specific suggestions on anti-monopoly and anti-unfair competition measures, fair competition reviews, and corporate compliance guidance. Meng Yang briefed the participants on SAMR's efforts to address "cut-throat competition" and maintain a fair competitive market order. Relevant department heads responded to the issues and opinions raised by the companies one by one.

Meng Yang stated that holding regular symposiums on fair competition with companies is an important initiative by SAMR to promptly address corporate concerns and foster a fairer and more dynamic market environment. SAMR will adhere to Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, fully implement the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China and the second and third plenary sessions of the 20th CPC Central Committee, and earnestly carry out the tasks set by the Central Economic Work Conference. SAMR will strengthen regular communication and exchanges with companies, enhance anti-monopoly and anti-unfair competition regulatory enforcement, reinforce the binding nature of fair competition reviews, accelerate the establishment of a unified national market, and actively work to resolve issues companies encounter in fair competition, thereby supporting high-quality corporate development. Companies are encouraged to remain confident, seize opportunities, continuously enhance their core competitiveness, strengthen compliance capabilities, maintain a fair competitive market order, and actively and orderly expand into domestic and overseas markets. Wang Tiehan, Director of Anti-Monopoly, along with key officials from relevant departments and units, attended the meeting.

[SMM PV News] Armenia Hits 1.1 GW Solar Capacity,
Armenia’s cumulative solar capacity has surged to 1.1 GW following the addition of approximately 615 MW in 2025. This rapid expansion has pushed solar's share of electricity generation to around 15%, effectively meeting the country's 2030 target years ahead of schedule. The growth is heavily driven by a net-metering scheme supporting over 50,000 autonomous producers (totaling 650 MW), though the government ended loan subsidies for rooftop solar in July to shift focus toward battery storage.
