Beijing (Gasgoo)- On February 21, Dongfeng Nissan's Manufacturing Headquarters, Information Systems Headquarters, and Shenzhen Lan-you Technology Co., Ltd. (Lanyou Technology) jointly held a launch ceremony for the PUMAS production management system at the Sino-Japanese automaker's Zhengzhou plant.

Co-developed by Dongfeng Nissan and Lanyou Technology, the PUMAS system is a reconstructed version of Nissan's core NPW-based production management system, CATS, integrating new business requirements. Covering both complete vehicle and engine plants, the project involved over 260 staff members and took more than 240 days to complete. The full-scale implementation is expected to generate annual benefits of 5.6 million yuan.

The project team ensured a smooth transition at the Zhengzhou plant through comprehensive preparations in software, data, environment, personnel, and operations. After the system switch, real-world validation was conducted to ensure normal functionality, track data link anomalies, and establish a post-launch maintenance plan.

The launch of the PUMAS system marks a deeper collaboration between Lanyou Technology and Dongfeng Nissan in the field of intelligent manufacturing. As a key example of Dongfeng Nissan's "Glocal" strategy in digitalization, PUMAS aims to provide an advanced digital foundation for production management and accelerate the Zhengzhou plant's transformation toward smart manufacturing.

World's First Mass-Produced Sodium-Ion Battery Passenger Vehicle Officially Unveiled
On February 5, Changan Automobile unveiled its global sodium-ion battery strategy, and the world's first mass-produced sodium-ion battery passenger vehicle was officially introduced. Test data shows that the vehicle equipped with CATL's sodium-ion battery delivers nearly three times the discharge power compared to conventional lithium iron phosphate vehicles with the same battery capacity under -30°C conditions. In extreme cold environments of -40°C, it maintains over 90% capacity retention, and it can still discharge stably even at the extreme low temperature of -50°C.
