[Hunan Redsolar Wins the Procurement Order for Lightweight Modules in the Zhanjiang Steel Raw Material Yard PV Project] On February 24, the winning bid result for the Zhanjiang Steel Raw Material Yard PV Power Generation Project's P-type monocrystalline silicon lightweight modules (≥420Wp) was announced. The winning company is Hunan Redsolar New Energy Technology Co., Ltd., with a winning bid price of 31,757,496 yuan. The bidding announcement shows that the procurement involves P-type monocrystalline silicon lightweight modules with a power of ≥420Wp. (Polaris Solar PV Network)

On February 24, the winning bid result for the PV power generation project at the raw material yard of Zhanjiang Steel, featuring P-type monocrystalline silicon lightweight modules with power ≥420Wp, was announced. The winning bidder was Hunan Redsolar New Energy Technology Co., Ltd., with a winning bid price of 31,757,496 yuan.

The tender announcement indicated the procurement of P-type monocrystalline silicon lightweight modules with power ≥420Wp.

Technical specifications:

(1) Crystalline silicon modules must comply with the requirements of standards GB/T9535 (or IEC61215) and GB/T20047 (or IEC61730) and be certified by nationally approved certification bodies. The models, specifications, and producers of key components and raw materials (solar cells, encapsulation materials, glass panels, backsheet materials, soldering materials, junction boxes, and terminals, etc.) must be consistent with the certified products.

(2) Bidders must commit that the products they bid (including base frames or edge frames) will pass TUV or CE certification or domestic CQC or CGC certification before delivery and meet the requirements of national mandatory standards.

(3) The peak power deviation of the provided PV modules must be within a positive tolerance.

(4) The service life of PV modules under normal conditions must not be less than 25 years. The power degradation rate of PV modules must not exceed 2% in the first year and 0.55% annually thereafter, with a total degradation rate not exceeding 15.2% over 25 years. The warranty period for module process materials must not be less than 12 years, and the warranty period for module degradation must not be less than 25 years.

(5) The weight of PV modules must not exceed 6kg/m2.

(6) The photoelectric conversion efficiency of film-surface PV modules must be ≥19.3%, and that of glass-surface PV modules must be ≥20.5% (calculated based on the total area of the module).

(7) Under standard test conditions (i.e., atmospheric mass AM=1.5, irradiance 1000W/m2, cell operating temperature 25°C, and standard solar spectral irradiance distribution meeting the requirements of GB/T 6495.3), the actual output power of PV modules must fall within the nominal power deviation range (0W to +5W).

(8) The strength of PV modules must meet the usage conditions for typhoon wind speeds of no less than 63m/s. [Bidders must provide a wind tunnel test report issued by a third-party testing agency, indicating that the module strength meets wind speeds of no less than 63m/s (the report must specify the test conditions, including panel material, thickness, frame type, and installation method) or provide a written commitment guaranteeing that the strength of the PV modules meets the usage conditions for wind speeds of no less than 63m/s.]

(9) PV modules must include base frames or edge frames and must meet the construction conditions for installation using on-site rails and clamps.

Note: The tendering party, Baowu Clean Energy Co., Ltd., is the investor for the PV power generation project at the raw material yard of Zhanjiang Steel. The contract-signing procurement party is the EPC winning bidder for the PV power generation project at the raw material yard of Zhanjiang Steel.

The delivery location is the project site in Zhanjiang City, Guangdong Province.

The delivery period is from February 20, 2025, to April 30, 2025, with deliveries made in batches (the delivery schedule may be adjusted by the tendering party according to the construction progress).
