SMM Reports Rise in High-Grade NPI Prices on February 25

[SMM News] On February 25, SMM reported that the ex-factory price range of SMM 10-12% high-grade NPI was 977-982 yuan/mtu, with an average price up 2 yuan/mtu from the previous working day, and a premium of 5.5 yuan/mtu over SMM 8-10% high-grade NPI (ex-factory price). The price range of SMM 10-12% Indonesian high-grade NPI (CIF, tax included) was 975-985 yuan/mtu, with an average price up 2 yuan/mtu from the previous working day, and a discount of 5.5 yuan/mtu compared to SMM 12-14% Indonesian high-grade NPI (CIF, tax included). The SMM high-grade NPI index was quoted at 979.78 yuan/mtu on the day, up 2.09 yuan/mtu from the previous working day, with a 0.21% increase MoM. The SMM low-carbon high-grade NPI index was quoted at 989.1 yuan/mtu on the day, up 2.1 yuan/mtu from the previous working day.
