On February 17, significant progress was made in the investment promotion efforts of the 36th Regiment. An investment promotion team, led by Li Fuqiang, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Head of the Regiment, and Zhang Quanli, Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and Deputy Head of the Regiment, along with three other members, successfully signed an agreement in Foshan, Guangdong Province, with Liu Xiangfeng, Chairman of Guangdong Nankong Electric Power Co., Ltd. The agreement involves the construction of a hydrogen energy storage peak shaving power station project in the 36th Regiment, with a total investment of 5.33 billion yuan. This signing marks a solid step forward for the 36th Regiment in its journey toward high-quality development.

In recent years, the 36th Regiment has placed great emphasis on investment promotion, considering it a crucial lever for driving economic transformation and upgrading. Leveraging its unique transportation advantages, abundant resource endowments, and a series of policy incentives, the 36th Regiment has actively introduced high-quality industrial projects, injecting new vitality into its development.

The hydrogen energy storage peak shaving power station project signed this time will be invested and constructed by Xinjiang Nanchuang New Energy Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Guangdong Nankong Electric Power Co., Ltd. The project primarily focuses on the R&D and production of green hydrogen and electricity, with a planned construction scale of 200 MW/800 MWh. Preliminary estimates suggest that after the project is operational, it is expected to produce 50,000 mt of green hydrogen annually (20,000 mt in the first phase) and achieve an annual power generation of 800 million kWh, generating approximately 150 million yuan in annual tax revenue for the local area. Additionally, the project will drive the comprehensive development of related upstream and downstream industries, such as logistics and clean energy, forming a complete industry chain ecosystem.

At the signing ceremony, Chairman Liu Xiangfeng expressed great confidence in investing in the Corps and the 36th Regiment. He emphasized that this signing represents a significant step in the company's "going global" strategy. The company will spare no effort to accelerate the implementation of the project, ensuring its early completion and operation. It is reported that this project is not only the first hydrogen energy industry project introduced by the Corps but also fills a gap in the hydrogen energy industry field for the Corps, injecting strong momentum into the industrial economic development of the 36th Regiment and the division-level city.

At the signing ceremony, Head Li Fuqiang stated that the 36th Regiment will uphold the philosophy of "welcoming, securing, and enriching businesses" and provide comprehensive, high-quality services throughout the entire process for enterprises. In terms of project approval, resource assurance, and policy implementation, the 36th Regiment will further enhance efficiency to ensure the project is quickly established, constructed, and operational. He also expressed hope that Guangdong Nankong Electric Power Co., Ltd. would fully leverage its advantages and work hand in hand with the 36th Regiment to create a mutually beneficial and prosperous future.
