[TSMC's Second Wafer Plant in Kumamoto May Face Construction Delays, Still Scheduled for 2027 Production]
TSMC's second wafer plant in Japan may face construction delays but is still scheduled to begin production in 2027. TSMC's Japanese subsidiary, JASM, is expected to build the second wafer plant in Kumamoto. The company stated that construction will begin in 2025, possibly later than the initially planned Q1.
