Beijing (Gasgoo)- Chinese automaker Chery Automobile announced on Feb. 24 its Lion-AI Joint Laboratory has successfully completed the world's first deployment test of its VSOC security operations agent at Chery's European R&D Center in Frankfurt, Germany.
This milestone establishes Chery as the first automaker globally to apply AI large model technology to a Vehicle Security Operations Center (VSOC), resolving longstanding efficiency challenges in automotive cybersecurity operations.
A VSOC is a comprehensive hub for monitoring, managing, and protecting vehicle safety, making it one of the mandatory compliance requirements for new intelligent connected vehicles (ICVs) in multiple markets. Lion-AI recognized VSOC's strategic value early and collaborated with global cybersecurity leaders to pioneer the integration of generative AI. This innovation upgrades traditional VSOC systems into proactive "security operations agents" that tackle numerous operational challenges.
This system significantly improves data fusion efficiency, reduces false positives, and operates 24/7. It also offers real-time multilingual translation using large language models, facilitating global deployment and cost reduction for users. By combining in-vehicle capabilities with cloud-based protection platforms, it provides integrated, multidimensional security, greatly enhancing operational efficiency and reliability.
The successful deployment of Chery's VSOC security operations agent marks a strategic leap forward in addressing the global cybersecurity challenges in the era of intelligent vehicles, paving the way for safer, more reliable, and user-friendly smart mobility.
