Nationwide Charging Infrastructure Surpasses 13 Million Units, Up 49.1% YoY

[The Number of Charging Infrastructure Nationwide Exceeds 13 Million Units]
According to data released by the China Electric Vehicle Charging Infrastructure Promotion Alliance, the number of charging infrastructure nationwide has exceeded 13 million units. The latest data shows that as of the end of January 2025, the cumulative number of charging infrastructure nationwide reached 13.213 million units, up 49.1% YoY. In January, the increase in charging infrastructure was 395,000 units, up 49.5% YoY. Among them, the increase in public charging piles was 181,000 units, up 222.5% YoY, while the increase in private charging piles equipped with vehicles was 214,000 units, up 2.9% YoY. The China Electric Vehicle Charging Infrastructure Promotion Alliance stated that China's charging infrastructure construction can basically meet the rapid development of NEVs. The construction of public charging infrastructure is relatively concentrated in 10 regions, including Guangdong, Zhejiang, Jiangsu, Shanghai, and Shandong, where public charging piles account for 67.9%.
