On February 19, the winning bid result for the 2025 annual framework centralised procurement of PV mounting bracket equipment by CGN New Energy was announced. The winning companies include TrinaSolar Co., Ltd., Jiangsu Guoqiang Xingsheng Energy Technology Co., Ltd., Xinjiang Tebian Electric Apparatus Group Co., Ltd., and Jinhai Xinyuan Electric Jiangsu Co., Ltd., among others.

According to the tender announcement, the procured products are fixed mounting bracket equipment, including ground-mounted fixed brackets and distributed rooftop fixed brackets. The total capacity of this framework centralised procurement is 10 GW.

This tender project is divided into five sections, as follows:

Awarding principles: Bidders must participate in the bidding for all five sections simultaneously, and different sections must not have inconsistent quotations (excluding freight); otherwise, the bid will be invalidated. Each bidder can win at most one section and cannot win multiple sections. Each section will be evaluated independently. When the first-ranked bidder for N (N≧2) sections is the same bidder, the bid evaluation committee will adjust the ranking of the winning candidates for each section based on the principle of the lowest total bid amount for the project. Furthermore, within the same section, if the bidder with a higher comprehensive ranking has not been recommended as the first winning candidate in this or other sections, the bidder with a lower ranking cannot be recommended as the first winning candidate in this section. Except for adjustments to the first winning candidate due to the above principles, other winning candidates will still be recommended in the order of their comprehensive rankings.

Planned delivery date: The framework contract will be valid from January 2025 to December 2025.

Data Source Statement: Except for publicly available information, all other data are processed by SMM based on publicly available information, market communication, and relying on SMM‘s internal database model. They are for reference only and do not constitute decision-making recommendations.

[SMM PV News] Armenia Hits 1.1 GW Solar Capacity,
Armenia’s cumulative solar capacity has surged to 1.1 GW following the addition of approximately 615 MW in 2025. This rapid expansion has pushed solar's share of electricity generation to around 15%, effectively meeting the country's 2030 target years ahead of schedule. The growth is heavily driven by a net-metering scheme supporting over 50,000 autonomous producers (totaling 650 MW), though the government ended loan subsidies for rooftop solar in July to shift focus toward battery storage.
