Shanghai (Gasgoo)- Miracle Oruide (Guangzhou) Auto Parts Remanufacturing Co., Ltd. (called "Oruid" for short) has signed a tripartite cooperation agreement with the People's Government of Taolin town, Donghai county, and Jiangsu Green Donghai Investment Development Group Co., Ltd. ("Donghai" is in Chinese pinyin), according to a press release Miracle Automation issued on February 17 via its WeChat account. The agreement marks the establishment of Oruid's first China-based automotive aftermarket circular economy center in Taolin town.

Leveraging Taolin's resources, Oruid's remanufacturing technology, offline production capabilities as well as online platform resources, the project aims to expand remanufacturing capacities of its automotive core components. Upon full operation, the project is expected to achieve annual capacity of dismantling and recycling 30,000 vehicles, while producing 200,000-unit remanufactured parts.

Oruid is a joint venture between Miracle Automation, Stellantis Group, and Jiangsu King Power Technological Co., Ltd. Oruid focuses on the automotive aftermarket circular economy and green manufacturing, with operations covering the recycling and disassembly of end-of-life vehicles and the remanufacturing of automotive core components. Through advanced processes, it specializes in the professional repair and upgrade of high-value parts like engines and transmissions, giving them a second lifecycle and promoting efficient resource recycling in the automotive aftermarket.

Oruid has so far established production bases in Ningbo, Guangzhou, and Yangzhou cities, processing over 20,000 end-of-life vehicles and 50,000 engine units annually. It has also built a comprehensive sales network covering China's major outlets as well as overseas markets in the Middle East, South America, and Africa.

The new facility, centered on the "green smart manufacturing" philosophy, aims to take advantage of the town’s strategic location and industrial cluster to create an integrated circular industry hub, combining efficient vehicle disassembly, intelligent remanufacturing of core components, and high-value recycling of resources.

World's First Mass-Produced Sodium-Ion Battery Passenger Vehicle Officially Unveiled
On February 5, Changan Automobile unveiled its global sodium-ion battery strategy, and the world's first mass-produced sodium-ion battery passenger vehicle was officially introduced. Test data shows that the vehicle equipped with CATL's sodium-ion battery delivers nearly three times the discharge power compared to conventional lithium iron phosphate vehicles with the same battery capacity under -30°C conditions. In extreme cold environments of -40°C, it maintains over 90% capacity retention, and it can still discharge stably even at the extreme low temperature of -50°C.
