BAIC BluePark to change name to BAICARCFOX

On February 14, BAIC BluePark announced it would change both its official Chinese and English names. After the change, its official English name will change from "BAIC BluePark New Energy Technology Co., Ltd." to "BAICARCFOX New Energy Vehicle Co. Ltd." The company will seek approval for a new stock abbreviation after completing the name change and will disclose the update once the Shanghai Stock Exchange approves.

FAW Jiefang signs strategic cooperation agreement with Gaolaozhuang New Energy

On February 14, FAW Jiefang and Gaolaozhuang New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. officially signed a strategic cooperation agreement for the delivery of 5,000 new energy commercial vehicles to the latter. The partnership will focus on the new energy commercial vehicle field, advancing the growth of green logistics. 

JAC Pickup sells 4,388 vehicles in January 2025

In January, JAC Pickup's global sales reached 4,388 units, showing both month-on-month and year-on-year growth in the Chinese market.

In the first month of 2025, there were 2.45 million vehicles produced in China, representing a 27.2% month-on-month decline but a 1.7% year-on-year growth. Meanwhile, China's auto sales stood at 2.424 million vehicles, which tumbled 30.5% from the previous month and dipped 0.6% from the previous year, according to data provided by the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM).

Chinese autonomous driving tech company MINIEYE announced on Feb.17 its successful delivery of an L4 autonomous minibus project in Suzhou, Jiangsu Province.
