Shanghai (Gasgoo)- On February 13, GAC INTERNATIONAL showcased three core models, including its first global-oriented strategic model, the AION V, at the Indonesia International Motor Show (IIMS).
The model emerged as the highlight of the exhibition due to its standout features, including the futuristic high-tech design language, remarkable extended range, fast-charging capability, and the ADiGO SPACE intelligent cockpit.
Aligned with its "In Indonesia, for Indonesia" vision, GAC INTERNATIONAL has expanded its presence in the country, with 40 exclusive dealerships open to the public within just six months. The company aims to increase this network to 60 outlets by 2025.
Additionally, GAC INTERNATIONAL is committed to a dual strategy of vehicle exports and localized production. In collaboration with Indonesia's leading distributor group, INDOMOBIL, the company has launched a smart factory, which is set to begin operations in March 2025, with an annual production capacity of 50,000 vehicles.
Apart from the market expansion in Indonesia, on February 7, GAC INTERNATIONAL held a grand opening of its first store in Bandar Seri Begawan, the capital of Brunei, marking the foray into the Bruneian market. At the event, the company also introduced the GS3 EMZOOM model to the local market.
GAC Group continued its global expansion by opening its Brazil office in São Paulo, the largest city in the country, in December 2024.
