Beijing (Gasgoo)- On February 14, Dongfeng Motor's premium new energy vehicle brand VOYAH launched the OTA 2.0 update for its COURAGE model's smart cabin system, introducing over 1,000 feature upgrades. This marks the model's first-ever OTA.

The update marks the largest OTA upgrade to date in the automotive sector, said VOYAH. More than 1,000 new and enhanced functions are introduced across modules such as navigation, voice control, ecosystem integration, system desktop, and intelligent experiences.

Notably, VOYAH integrates Baidu Maps V20 visual lane-level navigation for the first time. This navigation system boasts the industry's broadest map coverage, comprehensive traffic light information, and rich destination recommendations, making it a competitive advanced navigation system on the market.

AI technology with DeepSeek capabilities is also rolled out in this over-the-air update, transforming the COURAGE's smart cabin into an "AI intelligent entity." This integration enhances smart interaction with more precise, flexible, and intelligent voice responses.

Additionally, the introduction of "micro-scenarios" allows users to fully customize the vehicle cabin, providing flexibility in arranging hardware and software elements, much like a "Lego" configuration.

World's First Mass-Produced Sodium-Ion Battery Passenger Vehicle Officially Unveiled
On February 5, Changan Automobile unveiled its global sodium-ion battery strategy, and the world's first mass-produced sodium-ion battery passenger vehicle was officially introduced. Test data shows that the vehicle equipped with CATL's sodium-ion battery delivers nearly three times the discharge power compared to conventional lithium iron phosphate vehicles with the same battery capacity under -30°C conditions. In extreme cold environments of -40°C, it maintains over 90% capacity retention, and it can still discharge stably even at the extreme low temperature of -50°C.
