Beijing (Gasgoo)- Black Sesame Technologies on Feb. 14 announced it has successfully deployed the DeepSeek AI model on its Wudang C1200 chip family, with the A2000 series also set to fully support DeepSeek-based multimodal large models.

DeepSeek's emergence has introduced new possibilities for intelligent vehicles, providing innovative solutions with its advanced reasoning capabilities and lower training costs. Black Sesame Technologies plans to utilize its high-performance chips to further explore applications of DeepSeek in intelligent driving field, reducing overall solution costs and expanding the accessibility of advanced autonomous driving functions.

In the smart cockpit domain, DeepSeek can enhance user interaction with more fluid and natural voice-assisted services through improved natural language processing and speech recognition technologies.

The Wudang C1200 series is a high-performance computing platform designed for multi-domain fusion and integrated cockpit-driving applications. Featuring high computing power, low power consumption, and high reliability, it now supports DeepSeek inference, further broadening its application scope. With an advanced heterogeneous computing architecture that integrates high-performance CPUs, GPUs, DSPs, and NPUs, the Wudang series efficiently handles DeepSeek's complex computations, ensuring real-time processing and flexibility for large-model interactions and virtual assistant applications.

World's First Mass-Produced Sodium-Ion Battery Passenger Vehicle Officially Unveiled
On February 5, Changan Automobile unveiled its global sodium-ion battery strategy, and the world's first mass-produced sodium-ion battery passenger vehicle was officially introduced. Test data shows that the vehicle equipped with CATL's sodium-ion battery delivers nearly three times the discharge power compared to conventional lithium iron phosphate vehicles with the same battery capacity under -30°C conditions. In extreme cold environments of -40°C, it maintains over 90% capacity retention, and it can still discharge stably even at the extreme low temperature of -50°C.
