Beijing (Gasgoo)- On February 12, AVATR, the premium new energy vehicle brand jointly backed by Changan Automobile, Huawei, and CATL, officially announced that the AVATR 07 Pro+ model will be released onto the market on February 18.

The new model will feature Huawei's Qiankun ADS SE+ intelligent driving system and the HarmonyOS smart cockpit. It is equipped with 10 cameras, 3 millimeter-wave radars, and 12 ultrasonic radars, supporting advanced smart driving functions like intelligent lane change decisions, obstacle avoidance, and turn signal-activated lane changing.  

To showcase the model's capabilities, AVATR hosted a live stream event on the same day, during which AVATR Technology's President Chen Zhuo and Huawei Intelligent Automotive Solution BU's CEO Jin Yuzhi conducted an on-road test of the AVATR 07 Pro+.  

The official pricing for the AVATR 07 Pro+ has yet to be disclosed. For reference, the currently available AVATR 07 Pro extended-range rear-wheel-drive version is priced at 219,900 yuan, while the pure electric rear-wheel-drive variant is priced at 229,900 yuan.  

In terms of specifications, the existing AVATR 07 Pro series measures 4,825 mm in length, 1,980 mm in width, and 1,620 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,940 mm. The series offers both extended-range and pure electric powertrains, delivering a CLTC-rated battery-powered range of 230 km and of 650 km, respectively.

On February 5, Changan Automobile unveiled its global sodium-ion battery strategy, and the world's first mass-produced sodium-ion battery passenger vehicle was officially introduced.
