According to the Guangdong Dongguan Machong Media Center, the Ganfeng LiEnergy annual production project for 10GWh new-type lithium batteries and the energy storage headquarters, located in Xinsha South, Machong, Dongguan, Guangdong, has officially commenced construction with the New Year. Personnel from all participating parties have gradually assembled and resumed work in an orderly manner, accelerating the progress of the project construction.
It is reported that Ganfeng LiEnergy (Dongguan) Technology Co., Ltd. has a total investment of 5 billion yuan, covering an area of approximately 325.5 mu, with a total construction area of about 395,000 m². The construction includes production plants, warehouses, office buildings, dormitory buildings, and supporting facilities. Upon reaching full production, the company will primarily engage in the R&D and production of LFP, semi-solid battery cells, lightweight power batteries, outdoor portable power supplies, household ESS, and industrial and commercial energy storage systems.
"Our annual production project for 10GWh new-type lithium batteries and the energy storage headquarters base in Machong, with the first batch of Pack plants and supporting facilities, is expected to be completed and accepted in April 2025. The basic construction of the entire project is planned to be completed by mid-2025, and full production is expected to commence in 2026," introduced Jiang Rongjin, Deputy General Manager of Ganfeng LiEnergy (Dongguan) Technology Co., Ltd. "After reaching full production, the annual output value is expected to reach 11 billion yuan."
