Shanghai (Gasgoo)- Chinese new energy vehicle manufacturer ROX Motor debuted its flagship model, the ROX 01 all-terrain premium SUV, at the LEAP 2025 Tech Conference (LEAP 2025), marking the official commencement of vehicle sales in the Saudi market.
With an impressive total range of over 1,100 kilometers, the ROX 01 meets Saudi consumers’ demand for long-distance driving capabilities.
To better adapt to the Middle East's climate, the ROX 01 has undergone optimizations in air conditioning cooling capacity and electric drive system heat dissipation. The vehicle is equipped with a large-capacity compressor and has been tested under extreme high-temperature conditions. Additionally, the ROX 01 comes standard with an electric physical sunshade, which can block UV rays and high temperatures.
The automaker said its first Saudi Arabian showroom is set to open this month, offering local customers comfortable and convenient car-purchasing and after-sales services.
In December 2024, ROX Motor and Laith AI Obaidi Group signed an agreement, under which the former designated the latter as the exclusive agent to handle its auto sales and service operations in Riyadh and the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia. This collaboration strengthens ROX Motor's international market expansion and enhances its market presence in the Middle East.
ROX Motor has forayed into over 20 countries and regions so far, including the UAE, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and Kazakhstan.
