Beijing (Gasgoo)- FAW Group's Hongqi brand on Feb. 10 announced its Jiuzhang intelligent platform has completed deep integration with DeepSeek AI large model, further enhancing the flexibility of the brand's Lingxi smart cockpit AI platform.

This integration enables Hongqi's in-cabin AI large model to seamlessly switch between mainstream AI models, creating a more advanced and adaptable smart cockpit ecosystem.

In the first half of 2025, Hongqi plans to accelerate the deployment of AI large models in its vehicles, leveraging the advantages of this deep integration to offer users a more intelligent and personalized driving experience.

Built on Hongqi's Feiren architecture, the Jiuzhang intelligent platform prioritizes intelligence, digitization, and user experience. It serves as a key enabler for advanced AI capabilities in mobility, delivering cutting-edge technology, superior user interaction, and optimized operational efficiency.

The Lingxi smart cockpit, on the other hand, features an AI voice model with 13 billion cloud-based parameters, supporting functions such as text-to-image generation and dialect recognition. Additionally, it incorporates iFlytek's Smart TTS (text-to-speech) technology, providing highly natural and expressive voice synthesis for an enhanced user experience.

World's First Mass-Produced Sodium-Ion Battery Passenger Vehicle Officially Unveiled
On February 5, Changan Automobile unveiled its global sodium-ion battery strategy, and the world's first mass-produced sodium-ion battery passenger vehicle was officially introduced. Test data shows that the vehicle equipped with CATL's sodium-ion battery delivers nearly three times the discharge power compared to conventional lithium iron phosphate vehicles with the same battery capacity under -30°C conditions. In extreme cold environments of -40°C, it maintains over 90% capacity retention, and it can still discharge stably even at the extreme low temperature of -50°C.
