Beijing (Gasgoo)- On February 10, Chinese auto group JAC Group announced it recently integrated the DeepSeek AI large model into its Zhiling smart cockpit system ("Zhiling" is Chinese pinyin), enhancing features such as more precise intent understanding, voice interaction, proactive reminders, and intelligent vehicle control.

This integration marks a significant step forward for JAC Group in achieving its goal of implementing the AI-powered Zhiling onboard assistant across all vehicle models.

Based on DeepSeek's powerful reasoning capabilities, JAC Group also plans to apply this technology to improve software code development, testing diagnostics, and automated testing during the development process, thereby boosting efficiency.

By incorporating DeepSeek's underlying technological capabilities, JAC Group aims to significantly improve the interaction smoothness and service accuracy of its cockpit systems, offering users a more natural and intuitive intelligent interaction experience. The company will also work towards further lightweight deployment and inference of on-device models, enhancing the system's real-time performance and ensuring robust privacy protection for user data.

In the long run, JAC Group plans to accumulate and analyze application data and user feedback to develop an iterative, personalized Zhiling intelligent cockpit large model, paving the way for a smarter and more user-friendly future in intelligent vehicles and enhancing the experience of intelligent mobility.

World's First Mass-Produced Sodium-Ion Battery Passenger Vehicle Officially Unveiled
On February 5, Changan Automobile unveiled its global sodium-ion battery strategy, and the world's first mass-produced sodium-ion battery passenger vehicle was officially introduced. Test data shows that the vehicle equipped with CATL's sodium-ion battery delivers nearly three times the discharge power compared to conventional lithium iron phosphate vehicles with the same battery capacity under -30°C conditions. In extreme cold environments of -40°C, it maintains over 90% capacity retention, and it can still discharge stably even at the extreme low temperature of -50°C.
