Recently, according to the People's Government of Pei County, Xuzhou City, Jiangsu Province, the Pei County Bureau of Ecology and Environment of Xuzhou City has publicly disclosed the environmental impact assessment documents for the "Ruiqi New Energy (Xuzhou) Co., Ltd. Annual Recycling and Reuse of 300,000 mt Scrap Lithium Battery Project (Phase I)."

It is reported that Ruiqi New Energy (Xuzhou) Co., Ltd. plans to invest 5.05 billion yuan to construct the annual recycling and reuse of 300,000 mt scrap lithium battery project in the Pei County Economic Development Zone, located south of Fangqi Road and west of Fang'er Road. The total land area is approximately 244,943.33 m² (367.41 mu), primarily utilizing physical methods to recycle and reuse 300,000 mt of scrap lithium batteries annually. The project will be constructed in phases, with Phase I targeting the annual recycling and reuse of 15,000 mt of LFP batteries.

According to available information, Ruiqi New Energy (Xuzhou) Co., Ltd. was established on December 26, 2024, and is wholly owned by Guangdong Ruiqi New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. The company focuses on R&D in emerging energy and new material technologies, with an emphasis on scrap lithium battery recycling.
