Changan Automobile launches 'Dubhe Plan 2.0' intelligence strategy

Beijing (Gasgoo)- On February 9, 2025, Changan Automobile held a launch event in Chongqing to announce its intelligent strategy, the "Dubhe Plan 2.0," and unveil the DEEPAL brand's all-scenario smart driving solutions.

The event showcased Changan Automobile's advancements in smart driving technology and its progress in full-stack intelligence capabilities. Additionally, DEEPAL introduced its new all-scenario intelligent driving solutions, debut the DEEPAL S09 mid-to-large SUV, and officially released the DEEPAL S07/L07/S05 intelligent driving versions onto the market.

Dubhe Plan 2.0

The " Dubhe Plan 2.0" focuses on four core areas: digital products, digital operations, digital manufacturing, and digital ecosystems. Changan Automobile aims to implement four major digital upgrades actions to support the plan's objectives. Among those, the company is prioritizing investment in digital technology and products.

In 2026, Changan plans to achieve all-scenario Level-3 autonomous driving capabilities, with further advancements to Level 4 by 2028. All passenger vehicles across Changan Automobile's entire brands will transition to digital intelligent products, with no new non-digital products developed from this year onward. Over the next three years, the automaker intends to launch 35 new digital intelligent vehicle models. Starting with this year's new products, all of the company's vehicles will be equipped with intelligent driving interfaces.

Additionally, starting from 2025, Changan Automobile will accelerate the transformation of all its factories into super factories, planning to establish eight new factories that meet super factory standards over the next five years. The company is also advancing its "One Body, Two Wings" AI development strategy, aiming to enhance efficiency in providing quality products and services through AI-driven R&D, supply, production, marketing, and service systems.

DEEPAL's all-scenario intelligent driving solutions

At the launch event, DEEPAL introduced three intelligent driving solutions: DEEPAL AD PRO, Huawei Qiankun ADS SE, and Huawei Qiankun ADS, under the slogan "Popularizing Intelligent Driving."

The DEEPAL AD PRO system offers 29 advanced standard features, including an 8-megapixel HD camera, four high-dynamic surround-view cameras, five high-resolution millimeter-wave radars, and twelve high-precision ultrasonic radars.

It provides twelve safety warning systems, such as forward collision warning, rear-end collision warning, and lane departure warning, along with six safety assistance systems, including automatic emergency braking, lane-keeping assistance, and front lateral emergency braking.

In the first quarter of 2025, DEEPAL AD PRO will be further upgraded with highway NOA (Navigation-on-Autopilot) function, covering all parking scenarios, and will later be enhanced with remote intelligent parking assistance, including functions like remote parking, custom parking, and valet parking.  

During the press conference, DEEPAL also put the intelligent driving versions of its existing S07/L07/S05 models onto the market. These new versions, based on the current models, are equipped with different new all-scenario intelligent driving solutions depending on the configuration. These models are priced more competitively, offering enhanced value for money.

The S07 intelligent driving versions ranges from 169,900 yuan to 197,900 yuan. The L07 intelligent driving editions feature a price range of 151,900 yuan to 170,900 yuan.
