DEEPAL S09 flagship full-size SUV makes debut

On February 9, Changan Automobile’s new energy vehicle brand DEEPAL unveiled its S09 flagship full-size SUV. The vehicle is equipped with the Huawei Qiankun ADS 3.0 intelligent driving system.

Beijing (Gasgoo)- On February 9, Changan Automobile’s new energy vehicle brand DEEPAL unveiled its S09 flagship full-size SUV. The vehicle is equipped with the Huawei Qiankun ADS 3.0 intelligent driving system and will be among the first to upgrade to the new generation in the future.

The DEEPAL S09 measures 5,205 mm in length, 1,996 mm in width, and 1,800 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,105 mm. It is the first model to feature a custom-designed HarmonySpace intelligent cockpit, which comes with a rear ceiling screen entertainment center solution, dynamic panoramic sound, a child-specific assistant, customizable scenario blocks, and a space cube, among other features.

At the front, the vehicle is equipped with dual 15.6‑inch 2.5K ultra-HD screens boasting 1,000‑nit high brightness, along with a 43‑inch AR head-up display. The front seats offer 8‑point massage, ventilation, heating, and a 10‑layer cushioning system.

In the middle row, the S09 stands out with horizontally sliding dual zero‑gravity massage seats paired with a 21.4‑inch high‑definition entertainment screen. These seats support 180 mm horizontal sliding, feature an integrated "cloud-feel" leg rest, provide 8‑point convex massage, and include ventilation and heating functions. Additionally, the vehicle is fitted with a 21.4‑inch, 3K resolution, 16:9 aspect ratio, electrically adjustable rear entertainment screen with a tilt range from 0° to 75°. An integrated intelligent mobile center console with a flip-type refrigerator—adjustable from –6°C to 50°C—further enhances the cabin's functionality.

For the third row, the S09 utilizes DEEPAL's EPA1 all‑electric digital platform with a highly integrated design. By leveraging the brand's Super Range Extending Force ultra‑integrated electric drive system, the vehicle boasts a large 4.3‑meter flat floor. The third‑row seats also come with heating and other comfort features.
