Beijing (Gasgoo)- On February 8, Alibaba-backed automotive intelligence tech company Banma officially completed the integration of its Yuanshen AI (name in Chinese pinyin) with the DeepSeek large model, making it the first platform-based intelligent cockpit AI to incorporate DeepSeek.

The integration enhances Yuanshen AI's hierarchical large-model system, improving its intent comprehension, reasoning capabilities, and proactive service functions. The system now supports multiple vehicle models and aims to provide leading AI solutions for automotive applications.

With a decade of experience in intelligent cockpit development, Banma has deployed its technology in over 8 million vehicles and collaborates with more than 400 ecosystem partners so far. The synergy between Banma and DeepSeek strengthens their complementary capabilities in intelligent cockpit scenarios.

Following the integration, Yuanshen AI can engage in deeper, more logical conversations with users and accurately interpret vague user intents through advanced reasoning. Additionally, it proactively analyzes in-car and external contexts to offer personalized services, such as vehicle control, contextual dialogues, and entertainment or dining recommendations.

Banma's CTO, Si Luo, stated that the Yuanshen AI architecture combines large and small models through an arbitration mechanism, balancing deep intent understanding with the real-time performance demands of cockpit interactions. This architecture facilitates seamless integration with DeepSeek, reducing response latency and enhancing user value in the smart cockpit domain.

World's First Mass-Produced Sodium-Ion Battery Passenger Vehicle Officially Unveiled
On February 5, Changan Automobile unveiled its global sodium-ion battery strategy, and the world's first mass-produced sodium-ion battery passenger vehicle was officially introduced. Test data shows that the vehicle equipped with CATL's sodium-ion battery delivers nearly three times the discharge power compared to conventional lithium iron phosphate vehicles with the same battery capacity under -30°C conditions. In extreme cold environments of -40°C, it maintains over 90% capacity retention, and it can still discharge stably even at the extreme low temperature of -50°C.
