Shanghai (Gasgoo)- On February 8, DENZA officially announced that the first mass-produced units of the DENZA N9 model have rolled off the production line.

The DENZA N9 model, positioned as a large-sized SUV, will begin pre-sales this month and hit the market in March. The model will debut as a PHEV (plug-in hybrid electric vehicle) version, followed later by its BEV (battery electric vehicle) variant.

The front fascia of the N9 features a closed-off grille and split headlights, with air ducts on both sides. The front bumper adopts a dual-layered design with heat dissipation vents, giving the vehicle a robust look. The raised muscle lines on both sides of the hood contribute to its dynamic appeal.

The side profile of the DENZA N9 features a continuous waistline design and is equipped with hidden door handles, enhancing its sleek and elegant visual effect.

Regarding dimensions, the N9 measures 5,258mm in length, 2,030mm in width, and 1,830mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,125mm.

At the rear, the model is equipped with a roof spoiler. The taillight assembly features a split design with DENZA brand's logo at the center. The recessed license plate frame adds a three-dimensional effect to the rear end.

The DENZA N9 is equipped with a LiDAR unit on the roof, and rear-view cameras are hidden between the front fender and the door. Multiple cameras are integrated into the front and rear bumpers, as well as the side mirrors. The N9 is expected to include hardware to support an advanced driver assistance system.

Inside, the DENZA N9 adopts a new four-spoke steering wheel and a column-mounted gear shifter. The dashboard area includes a dual wireless charging panel for smartphones, with a crystal-material shift lever and physical buttons positioned in the front end.

As for power performance, the N9 will adopt the e³ technology platform, offering both PHEV and BEV variants. The PHEV version is equipped with a 2.0T engine and three electric motors. The 2.0T engine produces a maximum power of 152kW, while the three-motor setup delivers a combined output of 680 kW. It offers a CLTC-rated range of over 200 km on battery power alone.

Besides, the BEV variant features a combined electric motor output of 710 kW.
