Shanghai (Gasgoo)- ZEEKR Intelligent Technology, the premium electric vehicle maker under Geely Holding, announced on Feb. 7 that its smart cockpit team has successfully integrated its self-developed Kr AI large model with the DeepSeek R1 model, marking a significant milestone in smart cockpit innovation.

This deep fusion is a key step in ZEEKR's ongoing efforts to upgrade and innovate its smart cockpit technology. By harnessing the powerful capabilities of the DeepSeek R1 model, the intelligence level of ZEEKR's smart cockpit assistant, AI EVA, has been markedly enhanced. Building on its established reputation for rapid, accurate, and intuitive performance, AI Eva will now exhibit deeper analytical capabilities, providing users with comprehensive and precise responses that substantially elevate the smart cockpit experience.

ZEEKR Intelligent Technology emphasized its commitment to advancing smart cockpit development through continuous innovation, with the aim of delivering a more intelligent, convenient, and comfortable travel experience. The success of this integration is a testament to the team's relentless efforts in training and optimizing the inference capabilities of the Kr AI model, enabling the system to better understand and anticipate users' vague intentions and latent needs, and thereby offer more personalized and proactive intelligent services.

The company added, looking ahead, it plans to further increase R&D investments in smart cockpit technologies and actively collaborate with industry partners to drive the evolution and adoption of these systems. This breakthrough not only revitalizes ZEEKR's smart cockpit platform but also sets a new direction for the broader automotive industry's intelligent transformation.

World's First Mass-Produced Sodium-Ion Battery Passenger Vehicle Officially Unveiled
On February 5, Changan Automobile unveiled its global sodium-ion battery strategy, and the world's first mass-produced sodium-ion battery passenger vehicle was officially introduced. Test data shows that the vehicle equipped with CATL's sodium-ion battery delivers nearly three times the discharge power compared to conventional lithium iron phosphate vehicles with the same battery capacity under -30°C conditions. In extreme cold environments of -40°C, it maintains over 90% capacity retention, and it can still discharge stably even at the extreme low temperature of -50°C.
