China-led international standard for unmanned delivery vehicles released 

The first international standard for cargo electric transport equipment, IEC 63281-3-2, has been officially released, led by China. Experts from multiple countries, including Belgium, Japan, South Korea, the UK, the US, France, and Spain, collaborated on its development. The standard provides a unified testing method for evaluating indoor and outdoor cargo electric transport devices, promoting global adoption in the industry.

Dongfeng Motor's MHERO integrates DeepSeek-R1 AI model onto MHERO 917

On February 8, Dongfeng Motor's off-roader arm MHERO Technology announced that its MHERO 917 luxury new energy off-road vehicle will integrate the DeepSeek-R1 AI large model, with an OTA update planned for the entire lineup before the Auto Shanghai 2025.

Test data shows that the vehicle equipped with CATL's sodium-ion battery delivers nearly three times the discharge power compared to conventional lithium iron phosphate vehicles with the same battery capacity under -30°C conditions.
